Hoodia
Gordonii Seeds - SOLD OUT!
These extremely rare succulent (not cacti) seeds
are very difficult to come by. A packet of 10 seeds was auctioned on eBay for
$69. I was offering a limited quantity of hoodia gordonii seeds for sale.
There was a slight delay in posting your order as the demand was be high.
This feedback came from a customer of mine. He purchased 10 seeds and had 10 seedlings
germinating. (I was shocked, that was excellent). WARNING WE ARE SOLD OUT and
will NOT be selling any more seeds as we are cultivating our own small farm of
plants. About the quality of my hoodia gordonii seeds. When I purchase
my hoodia seeds I sort through all the seeds and cull at least a third of the
seeds out. I only send seeds I would be happy of purchasing myself. Unfortunately
the seeds that are send to me are not always the quality I like to see. So maybe
I shouldn't be surprised that this customer had such a good success, considering
that I only send the best seeds. Hoodia

Hoodias
have a reputation for being rather difficult to grow. Apart from Hoodia alstonii
all species easily root from cuttings. Light requirements during growing season
- medium (only morning or afternoon sun) to high (full sun during whole day).
Minimum winter temperatures 15 degree/day, 10 degree/night. Watering: Winter
- keep completely dry Spring/autumn - give little water and allow soil
to dry out after watering Summer - normal watering (allow soil to dry
out after watering) Tolerance to cultivation - medium - generally
reasonably tolerant. The seeds can be difficult to "smuggle" through
the mail or in and out of certain countries so we have decided to no longer sell
them over the Internet. We are sold out of Hoodia Gordonii seeds. |
